Near Dark (1987)

Special Thanks to Dan J. in Stillwater, Oklahoma for this recommendation!

Review: Wow! Near Dark is a very fun movie to watch. It follows a pack of leather jacket-wearing vampires who travel the country living the night life. Of course, their version of the night life means killing people in order to drink their blood along with a cold beer. Things change at the Oklahoma-Texas border when they are forced to accept a cowboy into their crew. The dialogue is simultaneously hilarious and crazy while the acting makes you think Bill Paxton really is a psychotic bloodthirsty creature of the night. All of this along with a solid tough-guy performance by Lance Henrikson make this a cult classic of sorts. This is undeniably a can't miss movie for fans of the vampire genre. -JNJ
