Review:Dr. Strangelove Or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb may have a ridiculoulsy long title but it only helps to cement its place in movie history. The story is set during the cold war and shows in an almost terrifying humor what could happen when a chain of events sets off nuclear war. Stanley Kubrick shows that his skill is just as potent in a comedy as it is in a thriller. Peter Sellers is genius playing three very different roles (I never would have known the characters were played by the same person if it weren't for the credits) and George C. Scott's toughness and arrogance blend well with Slim Pickens' enthusiasm and pure patriotism. Also, look for James Earl Jones as one of the bomber crew in his first role. The numerous one-liners and funny but no-so-funny storyline make this movie a legend in the dark comedy genre. -JNJ
