Review:The Diving Bell And The Butterfly is based on a true story of a man who suffers from "locked-in syndrome" in which the only way he can communicate is by blinking his one good eye. The cinematography is somewhat unique in the sense that much of the story is told from the first-person viewpoint of the main character. The script is interesting too, because the audience is taken inside the mind of a man who can't outwardly speak his inner-most thoughts. Overall, this is a very inspiring film with no weaknesses or drawbacks and is easily one of the best French movies of 2007. -JNJ
