Christie's Revenge (2007)
Genre:
Crime
Mystery
Director: Douglas Jackson
Cast: Cynthia Gibb, Danielle Kind, John Wesley Shipp, Anastasia Phillips
Review: First, a disclaimer for all the men out there: THIS IS A LIFETIME TV MOVIE! Ok, now with that out of the way....this is actually a pretty decent watch, especially for a made-for-TV movie. The cast is highlighted by TV veterans Cynthia Gibb and John Wesley Shipp (you would know their faces). The overall feel of this movie is that it's about 10 years older than it actually is, but that's to be expected from a low-budget TV movie. Sometimes things didn't quite make too much sense and the scene where the daughter keeps overhearing her mom and cousin talking about her in the kitchen was hilarious even though humor was clearly not the intent. All in all, this movie is not nearly as bad as expected.
