Bullitt (1968)

Genre: Action Crime Drama Thriller

Director: Peter Yates

Cast: Steve McQueen, Robert Vaughn, Jacqueline Bisset, Robert Duvall

Review: Even though Bullitt stars Steve McQueen, the real stars of the movie are the 1968 Ford Mustang 390 and the 1968 Dodge Charger 440 in the famous car-chase scene. It is indeed one of the best car-chase scenes in cinema history as the two muscle cars speed through San Francisco, ramping the infamous steep hills. Overall though, this film is a bit slow and outside of a few other somewhat exciting action scenes, does not offer much. It is a decent movie, however, and should be viewed for the green Mustang, if for no other reason. -JNJ
