Review:Blood Simple is an early Coen Brothers gem that deals with the murder of a small Texas bar owner and the paranoia that haunts those involved in his death. This movie has a low budget feel to it and yet it is very solid in every area. A young Frances McDormand and a cold, business-as-usual killer role for M. Emmett Walsh add to this unique thriller. The surprisingly good piano score sends chills down your spine as Joel and Ethan's directorial debut takes you inside the terror. -JNJ
