Asylum (2008)

Review: Asylum really is not that great of a horror movie. The only things it has to offer at all are the relatively cool college dorm / abandoned mental institution building and an early scene about the protagonist's father. The acting isn't as bad as it could be, except for Mark Rolston's role as the mad doctor, which takes this movie down a peg or two. David R. Ellis' directing is even worse. Still, with all that said, it is a watchable movie for those die-hard horror movie fans out there that take whatever they can get. -JNJ
