Angel Heart (1987)
Review: Lisa Bonet's graphic performance in Angel Heart didn't exactly make her TV dad Bill Cosby very proud, but it was very effective. A private investigator gets entangled in a web of mystery, murder, and Voodoo as he goes to New Orleans to find a missing person. Good costumes and an intricate plotline set in a creepy Louisiana bayou background make this a top thriller. All that without mentioning the best part of the movie: a devilish Robert De Niro.
