1900s Movie Reviews
Invented in the latter part of the 1800s, this is the decade when movies started to take off. 1900s movie reviews are rare as there are few films that have survived. Although silent and generally much shorter in length of time, these early "moving pictures" quickly became quite populer. Australia is generally credited with having the first feature length film ever, with The Story Of The Kelly Gang made in 1906. America followed three years later with The Life Of Moses in 1909, which had to be released in five parts to get around MPCC regulations.
