Review: Almost entirely set in a small room in a courthouse, 12 Angry Men has a very stuffy, stifling, even suffocating feel to it. The rising tempers of the debating jurors only add to the physical heat from the sun beaming in through the window on a summer day. If this is all the movie offers, then it wouldn't really be worth the watch. On the contrary, a superb cast led by Henry Fonda and a gripping story take all the attention, making this one of the most well written and acted movies of all time. It's quite amazing how much suspense can be made without the use of special effects or physical violence. This is a highly recommended film. -JNJ
